Book Haul | Jan - May 2016

Wow, it's been such a long time since I really write something on this blog (forgive me).
What's more entertaining and simple (easy) post to start this year (real) blogging more than a book haul? ^^
Well, I have been restraining myself to binge book buying, because my TBR's piles are enormous. So, let's see what we have here!

1. The Emperor's Soul by Brandon Sanderson

 Ordered it from bookdepository.com, had read it and it is pretty good. Review coming up (maybe).

2.  The Winner's Crime by Marie Rutkoski

 Hmm, still a bit sad because Square Fish decided to change the cover so I have to take this edition therefore the size don't match! Sigh. Haven't read this yet.

3. Fearless by Cornelia Funke

 Sigh. I think Gramedia don't have the will to continue the series, so i decided to buy the second hand book from betterworldbook.com. It's in hardcover, so the size don't match with my paperback... What should I do? Haha.

4. Lux: Consequences and Opposition by Jennifer Armentrout

The second bundle and the last book from Lux's series. Well haven't read anything from this series but seems like an easy and cheesy read. Sometimes I really need book like this.

5. More Than This by Patrick Ness

Love the theme, so gotta get to this soon, pretty soon.

6. The Book of Elsewhere #5 : Still Life

Caroline's like style. Looking forward to read this series. So far I only had read the 1st book, haha.

7. How to Ride a Dragon's Storm and How to Betray a Dragon's Hero by Cressida Cowell

The next books in the series, actually I don't really enjoy it but get this feeling that force me to collect these books.

8.  An Ember in the Ashes by Tehereh Mafi

 The super hyped book and the curious me. Well, let's see whether it can live up to expectation.

9. Percy Jackson and the Greek's Heroes by Rick Riordan

Okay, who can't resist Percy and his cheekiness? Me? No. Definitely not.

10. The Queen's of Babble #3 by Meg Cabot

Well the last and finally the end of this series. What's been nagging me is the size didn't match. How could you made the first 2 book in mass edition and the last book is paperback? Sigh.

11. The Hidden Oracle by Rick Riordan

Haha, can't...resist...Rick Riordan! Dang it.....

Hmm, so far these books are what I remembered. Average = 2,5 new books per month, not so bad myself!

1. Dilan

Well, pretty interesting, sweet and romantic. Definitely worth the try!
PS the texture of the cover is quite nice too, kinda metallic?













2. The 100-year-old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared by Jonas Jonasson

First. I don't like the cover, what is this ugly green no art whatsoever cover??
But, this book has so many buzz, I'm curious. But haven't read this yet.

So, it's been a while since the last time i went to shop for books.
And that's because i have a lot in mind this moment, i don't feel right to self indulge in my passion right now :(
But, i guiltily bought some books, just for desert before this is over!

1. House of Hades by Rick Riordan

Jadi ini buku ke 4 dalam seri Heroes of Olympus. Seperti biasa, petualangannya seru + humor sarkastis Riordan emng selera saya. Tapi gak begitu setuju sama segi pandang cerita dari berbagai orang ini. Jujur lebih suka pas jamannya novel Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Satu sudut pandang itu lebih intimate, dan lebih deket sama karakternya.









2. An Abundance of Katherine by John Green

Yeah, gak terlalu dalam sih ini ceritanya. Biasa aja, walau ada beberapa bagian cerita yang lucu sangat, hahhaa!
Konsep adanya rumus matematika tentang karakter utama yang terus dicampakkan cewek bernama Katherine itu bagus sih, tapi kurang dieksplor jadinya membosankan.
Cuman novel dengan cerita biasa, dilewatkan juga gak bakal kurang apapun







3. The Fault in our Stars by John Green

Belum baca, katanya sih romantis. Kita lihat saja nanti!

Okay, sebenernya udah menduga bakal "mengerikan'. Ternyata memang mengerikan, huhuuu.
Tapi pastinya seru dan bikin emosional.

2. Mirrorworl Series #1 : Unwind by Neal Shusterman

Well, pertama liat mungkin karena dipicu oleh jiwaku yg agak..sedikit..errr, sedikit penyuka yang genre sadis2an begini, langsung jatuh cinta deh.
Ternyata gak salah, overal aku suka temanya,,
Ada bumbu romance juga, jadi lumayan menghibur,
Yang pasti temanya gak seperti kebanyakan, jadi seru deh bacanya.

Marry Me, Mary! 4 (heh, ayah yang sangat egois)

Pandora Hearts 18 (ha.ha.ha *tertawa pahit)
Dawn of the Arcana 8 (kenapa manusia doyan bgt perang? anak2 cuman kayak alat buat orang tuanya. kejam)
Goong, side story (jangan baca ini klo gk mau ketularan gila. stres sih isinya )
Psychic Detective Yakumo 4,5 (hantu hihihi)

Terus beli novel satu. Bikinan Karla M. Nashar, lanjutannya Love, Hate, and Hocus-Pocus yaitu Love. Curses, and Hocus-Pocus (hmm, so so lah. bagusan yang pertama)

Hahaaa, this mean next month i really can't buy book anymore. My budget already spent on this! ><
